Job Description: As a Low-Skill Manpower team member, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of various airport functions. Your responsibilities will include:
Baggage Handling: As a low-skill manpower employee, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that passengers’ luggage is safely transported to and from aircraft. This involves loading baggage onto conveyor belts, ensuring that bags are correctly tagged and sorted, and coordinating with airline staff to ensure timely and accurate baggage handling.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Your role will also involve keeping airport facilities clean and presentable for passengers and staff. This includes cleaning restrooms, emptying trash cans, mopping floors, and ensuring that public areas are free of debris and clutter. You may also be responsible for replenishing supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
Cargo Support: In addition to passenger baggage, airports also handle a significant amount of cargo. Your role may involve assisting with the loading and unloading of cargo to and from aircraft. This could include handling packages, crates, and other items, as well as operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
General Labor: As a low-skill manpower employee, you’ll be expected to support various airport departments with tasks as needed. This could include assisting with crowd control, directing passengers to their gates, or providing information and assistance to travelers. You may also be called upon to help with other duties such as moving equipment, delivering supplies, or performing basic administrative tasks.
