Seasonal Visa

The Seasonal Worker Visa in the UK is designed for individuals seeking short-term employment in the horticulture sector during peak seasons, such as harvest times. This visa allows workers to fill temporary labor shortages in the sector and is typically granted for up to 6 months. Workers can apply to extend their stay for an additional 6 months, but the total stay cannot exceed 9 months in a 12-month period. To be eligible, applicants must have a job offer from a licensed sponsor in the horticulture sector and be at least 18 years old. They must also be from a country participating in the Seasonal Worker Scheme and demonstrate the ability to support themselves financially during their stay. Unlike some other visas, the Seasonal Worker Visa does not allow for dependents to accompany the worker to the UK. It’s important to note that this visa is temporary and does not lead to settlement in the UK, so workers must return to their home country at the end of their visa unless they qualify for a different visa category
